The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, we do not ask for your name or email to use the site, and we do not build a profile of you. Your colored pictures are stored in your own browser and never reach us.

What we store on your device

When you color a picture online, your progress is saved in your browser's local storage so you can close the tab and come back to it. This data stays on your device. It is not sent to us, it is not shared, and clearing your browser data removes it permanently.

Advertising

This site is funded by advertising supplied by Google. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure adverts. You can review Google's practices at google.com/policies/technologies/partner-sites, and you can control personalised advertising at myadcenter.google.com.

No adverts are shown while you are coloring a picture. When you enter coloring mode, advertising is removed from the page entirely.

Children's privacy

Part of this site is intended for children. On every page under /kids/ we mark our advertising requests as directed to children, which instructs Google to disable interest-based advertising and remarketing for those requests. Adverts on those pages are contextual only.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. There is no account system, no comment section, no messaging, and no upload feature, so there is nothing a child can submit to us. If you believe a child has somehow provided us with personal information, contact us at support@thecoloringsheet.com and we will delete it.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting aggregate analytics to understand which drawings are popular. We do not use this to identify individual visitors.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with data protection law such as GDPR, you have the right to access, correct and erase personal data we hold about you. In practice we hold none, because the site does not collect any. For anything held by Google as our advertising partner, use the Google links above. Changes

If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
